These gift-wrapping ideas are gifts that keep on giving: they’re easy, eliminate excess packaging and waste and you can use them again!

Wrap it up!Cake in a bag: Instead of baking a cake, why not give someone the dry ingredients so they can bake it themselves and wrap it in a fun Christmas bag? Attach a card that tells them what wet ingredients to add. Make a gift bag from a tea towel.

Old hat: A hatbox is a great way to package a cake and a nicer alternative to a plate and plastic wrap.

Glass canister: Fill a glass canister with hot chocolate or apple cider mix and then top with a bow.

Mitten, mitten: Here’s an idea that’s two gifts in one. Hide some delicious cookies in a pair of mittens and after the recipient has finished them they’ll still have the mitts! Be sure to put the cookies in a plastic bag.

Vase: This is a great gift for someone who can never find a vase. Fill one with squares or cookies and then wrap it in a beautiful bow. Don’t forget to line the vase with a bag.

Cookie tins: These are always a great gift wrapping idea. Buy them at any dollar store and then fill them with cookie cutters or cookies.
