How to make a holiday berry wreath
Make this easy berry wreath in just an hourBy Dayna Boyer and Virginie Martocq; Photographs by Joey Ryken
Tools and Supplies:
- 1 pair of wire cutters
- 1 thick ribbon
- 1 glue gun
- 1 package of glue sticks
- 16 pine cones (approximate)
- 4 bouquets of fake berries (approximate)
- 1 mossy wreath frame
Instructions:
1. Remove all of the bunches of berries by cutting them off the stem using the wire cutters.
The berries will come off in bunches that look like this:
Optional: If you want some greenery on your wreath, leave a few of the leaves on the stem as well.
2. Once all of the berries are separated from the bouquet, start attaching them to your wreath one bunch at a time. Place a dollop of glue on the end of the stem and secure it on your wreath frame.
Tip: For the best results, start at any point on the wreath and continue attaching the bunches of berries in a clockwise formation pointing in the same direction.
3. Now that the wreath is covered in berries, line the inside circle with pine cones by placing a dollop of glue on the bottom of each pine cone. Make sure to hold each pinecone in place until the glue sets.
4. Once all the glue is set, loop the desired length of ribbon through the wreath to easily hang it on a door, a wall, or any place in your home.
